General Information about Moscow Academy of Business

 

Moscow Academy of Business (MAB) in Association with the Government of Moscow was established in 1997 in Moscow, later there were 9 branches established in different cities of Russia: Barnaul,  Blagoveschensk, Rostov-na-Donu, Surgut, Yaroslavl, Murmansk, Tula, Kazan, and Perm. More than 90% of teachers have Russian Advanced Scientific Degrees (Kandidat Nauk, considering equivalent to Ph.D.) and Doctor of Science Degrees.  Studying on five departments, students receive deep knowledge in various fields.  Nowadays, Academy has multi-level education system (college, baccalaureate, and postgraduate study), which allow students to continue their education within one institution. 

Recently Academy has three buildings with modern study equipment, free Internet access for all students and teachers, medical care and many other benefits.  Moscow Academy of Business is a non-governmental institution, although students receive state diplomas after their graduation.  Awards of MAB include a Golden Medal “European Quality”, and Diploma “100 Best Russian Universities”.  MAB is accredited by Russian Ministry of Education and Science.  Study language in MAB – Russian.

General Information about Blagoveschensk Branch of Moscow Academy of Business 

 

Blagoveschensk Branch of Moscow Academy of Business is located in Blagoveschensk city, administrative centre of the Amurskaya region, Russian Far East (location map).  Recently there are about 4000 students enrolled in Blagoveschensk Branch of MAB.  It’s a largest branch of MAB, where good traditions and quality of education formed since 1998.  Blagoveschensk Branch of MAB provides qualified specialists for commercial sector of regional economy, juridical organizations, and governmental structures. Graduates from the Branch of the Academy become successful entrepreneurs who had been recognized on regional and state levels. As well as in Moscow, there are majority of teachers in Blagoveschensk Branch who have Russian Advanced Scientific Degrees (Kandidat Nauk, considering equivalent to Ph.D.) and Doctor of Science Degrees. Moreover, faculties have a tradition to invite professors from Moscow for teaching regularly.  The Blagoveschensk Branch of MAB is accredited by Russian Ministry of Education and Science.  Study language in Blagoveschensk Branch of MAB – Russian.

Summary about Office of International Affairs

Office of International Affairs was organized in September 2010. Our main goal is to establish and implement international co-operation with foreign universities. Forms of work including international workshops, conferences, project work, exchange programs for students and teachers, language and business internships for students and teachers, preparation work on participating Russian students in international events, facilitation in applying for educational grants and fellowships, consulting work on international programs and projects, including study programs in partner universities, for students and teachers of MAB.

 

Work of the Office of International Affairs began from co-operation with Chinese universities. Recently we have agreements in different fields of work with such universities as Heihe University, Qiqihar Pedagogical College (Heilongjiang Province, China), and proposed mutual initiatives with Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU-SolBridge International Business School), Renmin University of China (Beijing), and Harbin Normal University. We plan to establish cooperation and international exchanges with universities from Slovakia, Malaysia, USA, Canada, Finland, and Netherlands.

 

Office of International Affairs initiates and manages different events, such as round table discussions and informational meetings.  

The round table discussion “Crossroad of Cultures” was organized in Blagoveschensk Branch of MAB in November 29, 2010.  Russian and Chinese students who participated in this discussion considered such issues as pre-requisites and factors of intercultural communications between Russia and China, different and common traditions, cultural features and characters.

The international workshop “Logistics and external economic activity” took place in Blagoveschensk Branch of MAB in March 22, 2011.  Students and teachers from three universities were participated in this workshop. Students had reports in conference format with general information and problems’ enlightening, then there was a brain storm on most important and urgent problems of transport logistics on trans-border territory “Amurskaya region – Heilongjiang Province”. Third part of the workshop was organized as managing task, where students chose the most rational route for their cargoes in accordance with price, distance, time, and possible risks. There were 18 Chinese students took active part in our workshop, especially in managing task.

 

We are looking for co-operation with universities in organizing exchange programs and international events!
